Chocolate/Peanutbutter/Banana Smoothie


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk (you could use coconut milk too. Always full fat and unsweetened.)
  •  banana (you can use less if you like. Just depends on your taste. If you have overly ripe bananas on your counter, peel them, cut them in smaller pieces and put them in your freezer. They are great to throw in smoothies OR you can make banana ice cream with them.)
  • 1 big spoonful of unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 spoonful of raw cacao (raw cacao is made by cold pressing unroasted cocoa beans which maintains all of the great health benefits of it like being a great source of Magnesium. Regular cocoa is made from roasting raw cacao at very high temps. I’ve linked to the brand I buy on Amazon.)
  • 2 medjool dates
  • tiny pinch of sea salt
  • handful of ice* If it’s too thick you can always add a little water or a splash more almond milk to thin it out.
  • Add ons - chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, avocado

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and mix until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
